Dixie – Our Foundation Dog

 

 

Dixie is the heart and soul of our program and the perfect example of what we strive to produce. Bred from strong field trial and hunt test lines, she is an exceptional bird dog with phenomenal marking ability and natural talent in the field. At roughly 72 pounds of lean muscle, she is athletic, driven, and built to work.

 

Her versatility truly sets her apart. Dixie excels in a wide range of sports including agility, dock diving, FastCAT, lure coursing, and hunt tests. No matter the venue, she brings enthusiasm, drive, and focus to the task at hand.

 

Beyond her working ability, Dixie has an impeccable off switch that makes her a joy to live with. She is a certified therapy dog who brings comfort and smiles to nursing homes, law enforcement offices, 911 dispatch centers, and more. Whether she’s in the field, on the competition grounds, or curled up at home, Dixie embodies the balance of drive, intelligence, and companionship that we value most.

 

As our foundation dog, Dixie has set the standard for our breeding program, and we couldn’t be more proud of the dog she is.
