Possum is our up-and-coming stud dog out of our foundation girl, Dixie, and Wing Magic’s Rip Roar’in Gator MH. He’s a stunning dark chocolate Labrador, weighing in around 85 pounds of solid muscle.

 

Possum is all business in the field—driven, powerful, and incredibly talented. He’s got an exceptional nose, tons of natural ability, and the determination to take on any task you give him. He’s a beast when it comes to duck hunting, retrieving, and tracking wounded game - yet at home, he’s as loving and cuddly as they come.

 

Like his dam, Possum’s versatility stands out in everything he does. He excels in dock diving, fastCAT, and agility, and continues to impress us with his athleticism and enthusiasm for work. We’re extremely excited about his future and can’t wait to see all he accomplishes as he completes his health testing and continues earning titles.

 

Possum proudly carries on the legacy of proven field and performance lines, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to watch him grow into the next generation of Dixie Creek Retrievers.
